The reaction of the world press to the Allied successes in the North Sea is not only interesting but important, for it clearly shows how much sympathy there is with the Allies in their struggle with Germany. The main exception appears to be that of the Italian press where there is an apparent attempt to belittle, if not ignore, the very substantial blows which have been inflicted upon the enemy.
