Three people were killed, 21 wounded, 32 houses destroyed, and-four ships were hit during the Nationalist air raid over Valencia this morning. All They raided the Castellon railway station and heavily bombed it, apparently attempting to halt the evacuation of the Republicans. They also bombed Sagunto where they expected the Republicans to establish new lines of defence.
The victory, the Nationalist Headquarters claimed, presents an opportunity to win the civil war because it paved the way for an assault on Valencia and the isolation of Madrid.
