To the Editor of the "Mobrh-Chin Day News"
Sm—It is rather ridiculous and unreasonable that mass marriage will be held among the refugees. Although, I would not suggest to deprive these poor victims of the moral right of marriage, on judging the real situation of these poor people, 1 would like to submit the following to those who have promoted this kindness.
It is one important condition for one to get married that he must be sufficiently financed to support one more mouth other than his own. 1 cannot believe that a husband, who is under the feeding of others, can protect his wife. If the kindness means that the camp authorities like to please the poor spiritually, ready to support the little families thus produced, even then babies should be born, it will be still kinder that the controllers would raise a little more better the living standard of the refugees in its stead.
Since the present warfare has torn down a. great many families, to form small families among refugees is really something contradictory.
Moreover, I wonder if the choices will be satisfactory as each one is absolutely blind of the behaviour and standing of the other. Since they were anxiously made in the em-harassed days, good understanding of each other is not likely.
With a view to provide homes for those helpless girls, there are still many proper ways other than this.
