TI, Wong, one of the leading. cross-country Tunners in this part of the world, added another victory to his Tong list of achievements yester~ day morning when he won the 10,000 Metres Individual Cross-Country Championship, sponsored by the Ching Kuang' Athletic Club, in, the record time of 34 minutes' and 14 seconds, Mr. D, A, Lee and B, K. Hsu finished second and third respective More than 80 athletes were entered for the competition, but only 70 competitors turned up at the starting point—the Corner of Bubbling Well and Yates Roads~—at 8 am. yesterday morning.
The slarter was Me. Y. 'T. Liang.
Mr. Yon Keh-ping, president of the Ching Kuang Athletic Club, awarded the medats to the winners atthe eon elusion.
