London, May 6. Dissatisfaction of the British newspapers over the handling of war correspondents by the military authorities resulted in a concerted rebellion during the week-end, it was revealed today.

Following the decision of Air Marshal A. S, Barratt, Commander-in-Chief of the British Air Force in France, that henceforth correspondents with the R.A.F, will not be permitted to visit airdromes or talk to pilots but must depend on official handouts, the British press unanimously withdrew all correspondents stationed with the air force.

Eight men, representing British news agencies and newspapers, returned to England and today made efforts to confer with the Air Secretary, Sir Samuel Hoare, and demand that Air Marshal Barratt's decision be cancelled.
