Olympia, tomorrow. Mr. Henry Sherek, famous for cabaret glamour girl shows and West End theatre productions, has put the finishing touches to the Army show of tanks, motorized units, and cavalry. "There was a feeling that the tournament needed a theatrical magic wand waved over li Lieut. W. E. P. Miller, the tournament adjutant said.
It was realized that a professional producer would be able to get rid of any military stiffness which might creep into the more spectacular parts, and thus he would make the performance go over' with the best possible effect.'
This week the young Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret Rose have been making their first trip on the London Underground and were ticularly attracted by the escalatoi I now learn th they want to see some of London from a bus top. Already the Princesses have written to the King and Queen about their experiences in the tube and have asked for permission to travel on a bus. Very few members of the Royal fe; have travelled on the Underground, It was only recently that the Duke of Gloucester had his first ride in a bus. I believe the Princess Royal has also tried this method of travel, but to other members of the Royal family it is an unknown experience.
