The final arrangements have been made for the Club Institute of the Joint Committee of Shanghai Women's Organizations which will take place at the French Club on May 15 and 16. Two hundred entries have beer received to date from nearly all the Women's Clubs and Associations in Shanghai, and a very interesting programme is expected. This year's institute comprises subjects which are very much in the minds of all women at the present time and has been entitled the "Four Fundamentals of Shanghai, Food, Fuel, Fun and Finance." As the Institute has been shortened this year to a day and a half it is important that the talks should start promptly. Registration commences at 930 am. and it is hoped that everyone will be on time so that this very necessary piece of work can be completed promptly. The following is the order of events:—
"Welcome and opening of the Institute by Mrs. H. J. Van Hengel.
