Superstition and Disease Subject of Lecture The programme of events at the Foreign Y.M.C.A. for the coming week is complete and of unusual interest.
The lecture on Tuesday will be on the. subject "Superstition and Disease." The speaker is Dr. Frederick Reiss, who has made a special study of this subject and its application to disease in China.
On the debating programme the subject will te "That Shanghai should be placed under International Control." This subject is unusually pertinent, and the principals in the debate on both sides will come from the American School, with the privilege of participation on the part of the members as usual.
On Friday evening the male ensemble of Russian voices under the direction of Mr. I. A. Kolchin will render a programme of mu the fourth of the winter series.
