Besides those mentioned there is a Reserve Unit always ready to rush part of the concession where ation forces may require stance in quelling riots or any other big disturbances, The chief of this unit is in charge of training new members of the police force, native as well as foreign. Much credit for organization, and improvement of this department is due to tha late Chief-Inspector J. Grimaldi, who until the time of his recent death headed the unit, The. whole of the police services, are a highly specialized organization whose efficiency ranks it among one of the best, police forces of the world. An enormous amount of work has been and is being done by the force, but their modesty is as great as their merit, and although many benefit from their toils, few know anything of their life and work.
