Says Ulstermen Held Under — Foreign Law

Dublin, Mar. 26.

A manifesto in favour of an "equitable" trade treaty with Great Britain was released to-day by the Northern Council for the Unity of Northern Ireland.

The manifesto stressed thai the treaty should not be subjected tó any political conditions or grant any military concessions as long as Ireland remains divided.

"We call the world to witness that one and a quarter million inhabitants of Ireland are being held under foreign law in defiance of the nation's will? the manifesto added.

In conclusion, the paper pointed out that Great Britain could put an end to this situation whenever it wished by transferring to the legitimate Irish Government the powers at present granted to Ulster.—Havas.
