Second Victim of French Town Shooting Dies Police Follow Theory

Of Presonal Revenge

Li Tien-sen, who was wounded at his home at 3, Dah Song Li, Route Dollfus on Wednesday morning, died at the St. Marie Hospital yesterday as a result of shot wounds received the previous day.

As will be recalled, two men entered the Li home and fired a large number of shots killing Li's wife outright while he was seriously injured.

Concession detectives who have been investigating the case attach no political importance to the double murder and believed that it was a matter of personal revenge. The cartridge cases found on the scene have been submitted to ballistic experts both of the French and Settlement police but, as far as could be learned last night, they have not been used in any previous crimes.
