Munich, June 25.
Reichsfuehrer Adolf Hitler today made a speech stressing the solidity of the Berlin-Rome axis when he received in audience 500 Italian veterans of the Spanish conflict.
The Italian delegation was headed by Signor Carlo Delcroix, President of the Italian War Veterans Association.
In his address, Herr Hitler emphasized the community of Italo-German aims and declared, "I am glad that your visit takes place at a time when, thanks to our alliance, a common front has been created against our common enemy.
*T am fully convinced that any attempt on the part of democratic and capitalist plutocracy to forge our destiny for us will fail before the united strength of our two countries.
"Life belongs, in the long run, to those people who are ready if necessary to make the final sacrifice for their existence and future.
We, in the future, will make this Sacrifice together for Germany and Italy.
"I believe that all attacks by the other world (the democracies) will fail when met by our two nations' indestructible community.
"I believe that, in the face of the whole world, the future belongs to Fascist Italy and National Socialist Germany," Herr Hitler concluded strongly.—Havas.
