So much for continuity. Among new developments, physical seducation has been very prominent this year, Since October, we have had the advantage of Mr. Tingle's tuition both in the gymnasium and outside. The boys have thoroughly enjoyed their gymnastics, and they have benefitted greatly from them. Then weather permitting, they have made constant use of the playing field in Tifeng Road for football, tennis, cricket and running, There has been a considerable amount of boxing as well.
You will remember that our swimmers markedly improved their record at the Inter-School sports last autumn, This month, the Y.M.C.A, kindly arranged for swimming lessons for beginners. No fewer than twenty-two youngsters took advantage of that, our aim being that every boy over nine years of age shall be able to swim. I must not forget to thank Mr. Hopkins and Mr. Chryssanthopoulos for their work with the Scouts, and Mr. Kliene for his devation of the Wolf Cubs, who very nearly captured the Fraser Shield for the fifth time.
