To the Editor of the Nowmt-Cuina Dany News"
Si=I perused with keen interest today's Municipal Gazetted with the Index' of Cost of Living.
As a Portuguese 1 find myself numbered amongst "others" with a por-Jeentage of income 67.769 against' the British 62.492; a very false position, Ido not blame the compilers but rather the potential contributors, who probably feel in despair of getting fany satisfaction for their red figures. It Is noted, also, that the consumption of food amongst the "others" is, 70 per cent. higher than that of the Jabstemious Americans.
May I make u humble request for a supplementary index covering each Jof the six nationalities mentioned on [Page 127 of the Gazette?
