The census of the Reich's population, which will be taken in the spring of 1939, will for the fi oblige all persons to furnish details on their racial genealogy. so that statistics can be compiled on the number of Jews left in the countr It is now estimated that there are about 3,000,000 Jews and others of the Jewish race in Germeny today. Of these, about 1,000,000 are half ox even quarter Jews, being affected by the racial laws enacted in Nurenber validating full Aryans if one Jewish ent or grand parent occurs on one side- of the family.
The magazine of the National Socialist Racial and Po ical Office compiled the following f In the past two or three marriages between Jews and Arya and from these unions have sprung 216,000 half-Jews and 80,000 "quarter Jews," as they are called.
Of the half million people of the Jewish religion living in Germany in 1933, it is declared that some 50.000 have left. Anti-Semitic quarters insist, however, that there are still about three million people with Jewish blood in their veins, still remaining in the Reich.—Havas.
