Increasingly Difficult

As long as the loyalty of the Chinese people remains at its present age, one observer remarked, situation will be increasingly dificult for Japan.

"China's manpower is virtually unlimited. Her people seem to be thoroughly aroused and anxious to help the government."

Informed sources estimated China could train and equip men at the rate of about 60,000 to 70,000 a month with the military equipment she is at present re-2iving.

One authority estimated China's potential military manpower at approximately 12,000,000 to 18,000,000 men, Lack of equipment and in ability to train such vast number however, would prevent her ever from placing anywhere near that number in the field.
