Chicago Cards Lose To Packers

Stirring Play Seen in US — Professional Football

New York, Sept. 25 Spectacular passing by Dixie Howell and Arnold Herber enabled the Green Bay Packers to defeat the youthful Chicago Cardinals today by a score of 28-7 in a National Professional Football League contest in the Wisconsin city.

Their running attack completely throttled by the mighty Cardinal forward wall, the Packers took to the air and completed pass after pass for long gains and scores.

The Card defence was woefully inept against the aerial barrage, and nullified the heroic labours of the kid linesman, who stopped the Green Bay running attack before it could get fairly under way.
