Heard in Court

Derenvanr: I was on my way home to have a family quarrel.

Defendant at Willesden: I admit I was in the back garden, but not with any interior motive.

Witness: I told him I was not going to come indoors until his wife stopped talking. He gave me two other addresses to sleep at.

Woman at Tottenham: If I had not come to appear for my husband, my husband would have appeared for himself, but I don't think he would have been a success.
