Danger Not Yet Over

Paris, Sept. 29.

Diplomats do not consider the danger of a conflict altogether averted, despite increased prospects for a peaceful settlement of the Czech-Sudeten question.

Observers here believe that one of the results of the Munich Conference will be occupation of Czechoslovakia's Sudeten regions by international con-fingents to maintain order and guarantee proper execution of the transfer of areas to Germany.

It is also believed that Mr. Chamberlain will propose to increase the Sudeten territory to be occupied immediately by the Reich's authorities while denying that German forces should come into contact with the Czech fortified lines in the north-west and elsewhere.—Havas.
