Heats will be run off on Wednesday of this week at the French Club pool for the men's 220 yards free style and the ladies' 50 yards free style. No heats will be necessary for the men's 880 yards free style, the length of the event making heats unnecessary. It is announced that the heats will begin at 6 pin. on Wednesday.
With no sure winner on the list, the greatest interest this year in the C.SF. Gala may be attached to the ladies sprint event. The large number of entries, several of' which may be "dark horses" gives the event greater uncertainty than usual and lends added importance to the heats on Wednesday.
The list of entries, received yesterday, is as follows:
OUR. Pure i. Jo Olea Yo A Men's 220 yards free style.—"
