Shelaeff Awaiting Gong in U.S

His Ring Career Depends Qn Result of American

Debut; Fasano Confident San Francisco, Oct. 27.

Andre Shelaeff, welterweight champion of the Orient, and Johnny Fasano, "King of the Club Fighters," met today in the offices of the California Boxing Commission ju this city to weigh in for their fight tomorrow night at the Dreamland Auditorium.

Shelaeff, who will make his American debut in the fight, weighed 141, while Fasano tipped the beam at 146.

Neither Shelaeff nor his manager, ponderous Heinrich Seelig, had any predictions to make about the fight. Fasano, however, told the United Press that he expected to have little difficulty in winning, basing his contentions on the fact that he has had eight years of fighting against the toughest boys in this city while Shelaeff is just an "18 year old kid from Shanghai, where he couldn't have met anybody that is any good."

Seelig, Paddy Ryan and Freddie Apostoli, worlds number one middleweight contender, will be in Shelaeffs corner. Fasano's seconds are not known.—United Press.
