Shanghai Dock and Engineering Ca., Ltd.—Return of Capital.—In accordance with the scheme of Arrangement as agreed to by shareholders by Resolution passed on September 15, 1938 and sanctioned by H. M. Supreme Court for China on October 24, 1938 a return of Capital of £1-5:0 per share will be made to shareholders on the Register on October 24, 1938. Shareholders are requested to send their certificates to the Secretary at the d Office of the Company, 2 Peking Road, Shanghai for the necessary alterations, after which the certificates will be returned with the sterling warrants.
4 The Shanghai Land Investment Ca., Ltd.—5% 1934/5 Dollar Debentures:—The Debenture Transafer Books will be closed from October 24th to 1st, both days inclusive.
The Sungala Rubber Estate, Ltd.—The Directors have declared a First Interim Dividend for the year ending March 31st, 1939 of $0.10 per share, payable to shareholders on October lst. The Transfer Books will be closed from October 25th to 31st, both days inclusive.
