According to a decree signed by Herr Hitler, the Statthalter Dr. Arthur Seys-Inquart, of Austria will in future also control the Ministry of the Interior, to which is attached the Ministry of Education and Culture.
Herr ner is appointed the Statthalter's Deputy as head of the Government and Minister of the Interior. The total number of Ministries has been reduced from seven to thre:
The funds and properties of the Saint-Lambrecht Abbey in Styria were confiscated by the State today. The famed Abbey includes notably the Maria Zell Cathedral, well known center of pilgrims.—Havas.
