After opening steady, stock prices on Wall Street today finished irregularly lower, Operators mostly continued to mark time due to the lack of a definite trend, coupled with the coming election uncertainties. Sentiment, however, was in no way impaired, as large potential buying power appears to be waiting for a lead. Most recent pivotal issues were under pressure, principally due to the lack of stimulating news. The turnover today amounted to 1,200,000 shares.
