War Debt Question

London, Nov. 22.

A settlement of the war debt question is foreseen by certain financial circles here as the result of the recent Anglo-American Trade Treaty.

The first result to be expected from the treaty will be the break-down of international trade barriers, This is expected to result from third-party nations seeking to benefit from the newly lowered tariff schedules under "most favoured nation" clauses.

This general lowering of high: tariff walls throughout the /world is believed likely to lead to a general readjustment of international trade. and related questions, among which. the war debt settlement looms large.—United Press.
