Convicted of highway robbery, four men were each sentenced to seven years and six months' im~ prisonment yesterday -by the First Special District Court in connection with an armed robbery committed on August 21 in Nanking Road near Fokien Road when Ma Ching-ling, a Wusth merchant, was relieved of $2,000 contained' in a parcel, Two other men were acquitted.
Most of the accused were arrested later by alert detectives attached to the Louza Police Station, og a result of several raids, The booty iwas returned to the owner by the court, but part of the: stolen money had been used by robbers for buying things which were also returned to the owner,
