Neither France nor Great Britain will abandon Poland and Marshal Hermann Goering's "peace offensive," launched with his speech before Berlin factory-workers today, is doomed to object failure as long as German troops remain in Poland. Such was the concensus of opinion in French political quarters today. These quarters attached importance to the speech, which they described as being "most interesting" and showing, what arguments were used German propaganda to influence the German people. It was also the first overt sign of the international, political manauvre that the Reich plans to carry out, Fieldmarshal Goering, French poli~ feal circles stated, alleged that G any. attacked Poland in, order to establish order and abolish the Injustices of Versailles Treaty but the Germans have already advanced beyond the borders of the territory that it occupied prior to 1919.
