Moscow Newspapers Attack American Airman Moscow, Dec. 3.
Russian papers today gave the widest prominence to a Tass dispatch from New York accusing Col. Charles A. Lindbergh of being an agent of German Fascism.
The dispatch also charged that Lindbergh was a prominent member of an American league "of reactionary bourgeois openly defending Fascism and Chamberlain's policies." The dispatch alleged that the Morgan and Clu Pont families were leaders of this group, which it alleged to be closely connected with German and Japanese industrial interes The dispatch concluded with a list of names of persons said to be members of this group, including Mr. Herbert Hoover, Mr. Winthrop Aldrich, Mr. Henry Ford, Mr. William Randolph Hearst, Mr. Joseph E. Kennedy, Mr. Eruce Barion, and Senator Arthur H. Vandenburg—United Press.
