T['HE football match at the Canidrome yesterday was practically devoid of gocd football, because of the spoiling efforts of both sides.
S.F.X. passed into the second round of the Skottowe Cup competition by defeating the A.
S.F. by the score of 2-1. The school team have their goalkeeper Kabbert and the two fullbacks to thank for their win, not forgetting Freddy Foyn and Petterson, the two scorers.
The backs had Roboostoff and his partners "bottled up" for three parts of the game. In fact, the centre-forward did not get a shot at goal until the game was nearly over. Towards the end, after the A.S.F. had scored their goal, it looked as if they were going to make at least a draw of it, so effectively did they press, but too much wild kicking in front of goal spoilt their chances.
