Shanghai, Sept. 17.
Three men one of whom is an apprentice of the Yung Feng Cotton Cloth Shop in Shanse Road were each sentenced {0 one year's imprisonment yesterday by the First Special District Court charged with misappropriation. The apprentice was recently given 9 [cheque for $1,000 and more than $3,000 in cash to be deposited vith a native bank. Instead of carrying out the instructions he slipped away with the money and used a greater part of it his own advantage with the other two accused. They squandered the money in gambling houses and on Buide society girls. Only just over $1,400 was found in their possession at the time of their arrest.
