Steady conditions prevailed on Wall Street. today, with prices showing a tendency to move both ways. After an early advance, the market eased on liquidation and profit taking, induced by European uncertainties and the approaching weekend holiday.
A feature of today's trading was the demand for steels and other heavy issues, prompted by prospects of continued high rate of activity for some time, ing effect.
