Buenos Aires, Dec. 25 President Roberto M. Ortiz said in his Christmas message broadcast to the nation today that pacts and al-lances between nations of the western hemisphere were not necessary 10 secure joint defence against possible outside aggression.
The President pledged his countr to join with the American republi im resisting aggression, whether the attack was made on one of Argentina's neighbours or "distant friends.
"We can subscribe to all propositions based on reciprocal collaboration and mutual respect," the President said. "This excludes the necessity for Pac's and alliances against possible attacks."—United Press.
