As a result of the completion of repairs, the Central China Telecommunications Company will resume telephone service between Shanghai and Nanking and Shanghai and Soochow beginning New Year's Day. will be Y¥.1.00 between Shanghai and Nanking and Y.40 between Shanghai and Soochow; evening service also will be provided, as in Japan.
The company is hastening repairs at Quinsan, Wusih, Changchow, Chinkisng and other cities on the Shanghai-Nanking Railway and resumption of telephone connections between those places is expected
