Heavy rains have caused trame on the "Hanoi-Kunming Railway to be suspended since September 26.
Wash-outs have occurred at five points on the line, and a seven-mile Sector of the rond-bed has been dam~ aged.
The vicinity of the Kouchieh, Tis~ ful and Hsuchlatu stations, south-east of Kunming, is said to have been the worst hit, "At the same, time) reports from Kunming state that serious floods are threatening Kunming and its surrounding districts.
