Tokyo, Sept. 30 People in Germany and Italy think that war between Japan and the United States is inevitable, according to Mr. Sanehiko Yamamoto, president of the Kaizo magazine, who returned recently from a trip around the world.
"The armed strengths of the two countries are being studied there on that assumption", Mr, Yamamoto said in an article appearing in a recent issue of his magazine, "In the event of a Pacific war in the present state of armaments, they think that Japan will win because the Japanese naval officers and men are far better trained than the Americans.
"The Germans and Italians said if a battle should be fought near the Philippines or in the China Sea, there is no chance for the United States fleet, ft is interesting that I heard the same opinion expressed when I was in Moscow."
