Return from Bombing Effort

Two of three German planes returning from bombing British warships in the North Sea were forced dowpgin Danish territory yesterday, and the third was driven across the German frontier by Danish antiaircraft defences.

The 22-year-old leader of the crew said they were with two other planes returning from bombing British warships in the North Sea. He said they turned back only when they had no bombs left.

A third plane made a forced land-ang on the Island of Fanoe. The four members of the crew of that plane, too, were unhurt and immediately interned by authorities on the island.—United Press.
