Herr Adolf Hitler wants no part those German lunatics who are in Latvia and when the rest of the German minority leaves next week, the mentally unbalanced will be left behind.
Ten freighters and other German ships from Bremen and Hamburg are in port here, waiting for the em-grants, the first. batch of whom is now to leave only next week.
Since yesterday, Latvian storekeepers and merchants refuse to speak the German language and a namber of non-German wives of German men have left their husbands rather than go to Germany.
The emigrants themselves manifest a good deal of perturbation. Their committee leaders tolerate no hesita-Yon on their part, however.—Havas. near the town were bombed. These raids were carried out in spite of aircraft fire. establishments, godowns and landing places near Shihcheng, Muiluk and Kaochow in the northern part of the Luichow promontory in Kwangtung were bombed and heavily damaged, the statement said.
