The official closing day of the Shanghai Lawn Bowls Club last Sunday was favoured by good weather and members and their wives turned out in full force. Several interesting competitions were run off during the day, including events for the ladies. The closing day ceremonies included that of distribution of prizes for the season, Mr. H. Wallace receiving the trophy for the Club Championship, and Messrs. A. Braid and F, M. Young, for the Club Pairs Championship, among others.—N.C.D.N. Photographs.
