San Francisco, July 22.
Mr. Herbert Hoover, former President of the United States, will speak in Kansas City this September, it was announced today.
His speech will be the first in a series to unify and strengthen the Republican Party for the 1940 election campaign. The first of the series has been planned for September in order io counteract the recent Democratic campaigning of President Roosevelt, it was understood.—United Press.
