Warsaw, July 23.
A new trade agreement between Poland and Japan will be concluded shortly, according to well-informed circles here.
The agreement would result from the present negotiations between Mr. Kimura, Counsellor to the Japanese Embassy, and M. Wszelaski. Economic Counsellor to the Polish Foreign Ministry, it may be recalled that Polish exports to Japan showed a considerable decrease during the first five months of 1938 in comparison with the same period in 1937 while Japanese imports to Poland slightly increased.—Havas.
