Journey Begun in February

Weak with exhaustion and almost penniless, Mastrigt reached Northern Malaya from Rangoon five weeks ago. While camping in a roadside jungle clearing he caught malaria, But with his goal almost in sight, "he rode on to Singapore.

Reaching here on the verge of collapse, he was admitted to hospital. He will be there two or three months.—Reuter.
