Berlin Takes Series View

Berlin, Nov. 6.

Norway's rejection of Germany's protests against the release of the City of Flint "creates an entirely new, situation and a considerably more acute problem," Nazi political quarters said last night.

They considered the internment of the Nazi prize crew as particularly serious and hinted that, while Germany has so far made an effort to avoid dramatizing the City of Flint incident, they might now adopt new tactics.

Responsible German quarters said that the. German Government had been informed that the City of Flint will immediately return to the United States with its cargo under the terms of the new Neutrality Act, They admitted that he Norwegian communique constituted "more or less a flat rejection" of the German protest. The Norwegians are still holding the German prize crew and diplomatic negotiations aimed at securing the release of the men are being conducted at present—United Press.
