A purchase premium system to encourage the production of gold with-Qut raising the Government purchase Price was in operation in Japan today.
The Ministry of Finance announced on Saturday that two yen will be paid for every gram of Governor Of Honan Returning Peiping, Nov. 13.
Mr, Chen Ching-chai, Governor of Honan, is returning to Kaifeng shortly to resume his duties. He came sometime ago to interview Government leaders concerning the administrative affairs of his province and financial assistance for Honan.

In announcing the new ordinance, the Finance Ministry pointed oni that the difference between the Japanese purchase price of gold and the world market price has increased 89 sen per gram, aside from freight insurance and other expenses involved in transportation, since the link of the yen with the dollar.
