Secret Radio

Host of us who saw a lavish splash of pictures illustrating the B.B.C/s "secret radio centre, somewhere in England," were thrilled.

We had never seen people on bicycles before—"200 of them cycle from their billets every day": we hid never seen an omnibus (it fetches some of the others) before: we had never seen a 1an shaving before—"he lives in a caravan close to the studios."

And then, after the thrill had subsided a trifle, we wondered how the "secret," of this radio centre was Leing kept.

We eventually decided that some powerful propaganda must have persuaded all in the neighbourhood that the B.B.C. people were not real, but simply a lot of extremely well-spoken elves, gnomes, and good fairies, Obviously, anyone would have to be mad to believe that. So all in. the neighbourhood, thinking themselves mai, are keeping very quiet about it—By Shovman in the "Daily Herald."
