London, Oct. 31.
TROCIOUS weather over Germany on Tuesday clit had the paradoxical effect of increasing the diversity of British attacks, which included Be and numerous important military and indus~ objectives. Oil supply centres were the chief objectives, but the planes, which encountered excessively bad weather, were Jdeflected elsewhere.
Thus in addition to refineries and storage plants at Magdeburg, Sterkrade and Bemberg, oil refineries at Leuna and Gelsenkirehen were bombed. Industrial plants at Leipzig and the Krupp works at Essen received further visitations, while a direct hit was scored on a river bridge at Stralsund, a port on the Balt Other aircraft, unable to Joeate their primary. objectives dropped heavy bombs on Yailway junctions in the Ruhr district and others further north and east, thus complicating comimunteations between the. highly industrialized western regions and the remainder of Germany.
