Liberal Opposition View Sit Archibald Sinclair, the Liberal

Leader, speaking on behalf of the Liberal Opposition, said that the British. Government had confronted Parliament with a policy of "bank-Tuptcy and suicide."

The Government, he declared, was now going to recognize a Government which "cannot maintain its authority without foreign troops." The British Government, he added had strengthened the dictatorships, and weakgned the democracies.

It had betrayed one after another those countries which had trusted them, and their epitaph would be:—"We have eaten dirt in vain."
