The ceremony started at 8 am. this morning when the Pope arrived at the "Sacred Trinity "Chapel. His Holiness rose from the soda gestatoria to pray before the Holy Sacrament, following which the cortege proceeded to the St. Gregory Chapel where the Pope was dressed in his robes for the celebration of the pass. He walked to the throne whil the choir sang the "Tu Es Petrus". The Master of Ceremonies accomplished the sym-helical rite of burning a few flakes of wool, singing the "Sic Transit Gloria Munch."
