Everything indicates that two Ger man ships who have been anchored ity Vera Cruz harbour for some time, are making preparations for leaving.
The steamer Arauka, has taken on full supplies and the Columbus, crack German round-the-world luxury liner, has been loading 20,000 barrels of oil at the Anton Lizardo dockyards. The destination of the two steamers has not been made Janown but the skipper of the Arauka said to have indicated that he was leaving for a port in the United States. Tt is considered possible, however, that the two chips are leaving port to take supplies to German Corsairs on the high seas or known base—Havas.
