New York Stocks

Friday's Closing Quotations

New York, Apr. 14.

Prices dipped during early trading on the Stock Exchange today, with most listed issues recording losses, following the marking down pf prices in London. However, some resistance appeared at the lower levels after President Roosevelt's broadcast and a rally set in which was carried through to the close with earlier losses partially recovered. Generally, traders kept to the sidelines, awaiting more definite indications of the future trend of the market, resulting in another session of light trading. However, the ection of the market was considered good. The volume of business passing amounted to 620,000 shares.—Reuter.
