This particular sends his talks with "Remember than die for Chu i," to which of course the true British answer would be "It's better to die for Churchill than to live under Hitler."
In July of this year another station calling "The Workers' Challenge" commenced operations, directed solely to the British working man in Iangwage couched in filthy and obscene expressions. Here again the erman propaganda machine shows how entirely it fails to understand the British working man's advanced political sense and loyalty to his elected leaders, Tt would probably be more effective directed to the un-masses which Hitlerism has created. to represent the Scottish Peace Front composed of all sections of the com= munity. One cholec passage occurring in broadcast was as follows:—
"We are opposed to that corrupt pol Winston Churchill, We have alway vocated a separate peace for Scolland. Many people have asked ts if this will imply that We wish a complete separation from England. That Ie not suggested for one moment, We hope it will be possible for Britain to secure ec. but in any ease we must get it for fland., Our Keographieal position makes possibite, we get peace and England The emissions usually end with the playing of "Auld Long Syne," though up to the pre= sent they do not appear to have secured the services of someone to play the bagpipes.
Then there is the "Christian Peace Move ment" in which the devil a saint would be.
Starting off with "Abide with me" and ending with some other hymn the Nazi broad-easter indulges in a religious talk on the virtues of non-violence and non-resistance to evil. Last September this particular speci men of loathesomeness delivered himself of the following addressed to the women of Britain:—"Every woman who makes weapons or helps war is committing a crime against God. "Women of Britain, we appeal to you to put an end to this horrid war" and four days later:—"No cause, however just, can be fought for with the wicked methods of war. God's will peace Thus the world sees combined with the utter, wanton ruthlessness with which the German military arm conducts war the slimy Blasphemy of the German propaganda machine. The women of Britain are not likely to be influenced by such turgid rubbish. They stand shoulder to shoulder with their mon, recognizing Naziism for the evil thing that it fs and determined that they will have none of it. They will remember the song of the Hitler youth:
